Just had a chat session with WM on the computer I was told to send them back if it is not what I expected, and they gave me this # to call 1800-262-8464 in order to try and resolve this. West Marine is acting as if they will not honor the deal. I will try to call after this hurricane goes by, if I still have power. They are claiming that it was the suppliers fault and not theirs...West Marine blows worse than this hurricane...again the # is 1-800-262-8464...

UP-Date: I went ahead and called them just now, and spoke to customer service and was told that they would honor the deal...They said to expect the rest of the parts soon ,which will include the bases, holders, and rigging...After I spoke to the service rep he asked me what I thought of their customer service now...I told him that I would give them a 10...I have to admit, I didn't think that they would stand behind their word, but they did, and I am now happy...I hope all those who ordered get their parts too.

Just got this message from UPS, which I was expecting...but that's OK, important part has been taken care of...here is what I got from UPS.. (Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery. / Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day.) I'm not going to hold my breath, this coming storm has everything messed up down here....

NEWS FLASH, it seems someone made a BOO BOO and only the poles are being delivered, west marine have also changed the listing to "Poloe" not "system" and the decription has been removed. If you didn't print out the original page I have a copy of it, they will have to honor the original listing as it's an FTC violation. I need a copy please. I just checked and my order has changed from "system" to "poles".

Cool, I got another confirmation last night, they say that I will have the rest of the parts on Monday. The parts are coming out of California.

I've called and emailed them a copy of the ad and still haven't gotten anyone to tell me they will honor my original order. They say they have to call Tigress and Tigress isn't answering the phone probably because of the hurricane. I'm going to give them a day or two and then start calling again.

Got an email answer from Customer service... They gave me the option of not accepting the poles when UPS delivers them or taking them to one of their stores for a credit. West Marine just peed in the wrong person's cereal

I almost jumped on this deal, but I knew it was too good to be true. West Marine has typically never had a good deal. I hope they make it right for everyone. Korupt3dayzn, smart move saving a copy of the original ad!

I had to argue with two different customer service reps via email, and another one promised to resolve the issue and email me back, but never did. Then after calling the customer service number twice and being told the ad was in error and was Tigress's fault and they would have to contact Tigress but Tigress wasn't answering the phone..... I asked them to email me the phone number and contact information of the Senior Customer Service Manager... and they sent two different names... shortly after, I got another email saying that there are several customers with the same issue and Tigress is going to send the missing parts to all of them. We shall see.
Quote from West Marine: "Ok, let us know if you have any issues, we have several other customers in the same position and Tigress says they will do this. Sorry for the inconvenience on this."
