Nice! Where did you get the rocker switch covers from? I want to replace all of mine with those.

Well I am 99% done with engine swap. Only thing left for the swap is the Water Temp Sensor. Just waiting for it to get here. Now time to put back bilge hatch cover back on and start to clean this dirty animal!!! While I did the engine swap, I tackled the wiring. I can understand it better now. Even though I may have to move battery selector switch in the future. But for now it is staying where it is. I replaced quite a few things while I did all this. I masked off the area around the hatch cover so I wouldn’t get get 4200 everywhere! I also cleaned the area with acetone and scraped off any teaming adhesive/sealant that was left on the deck. I am seriously thinking of moving my fuel filter to the bilge so it is not out in the open. But then I have to contend with these holes. Which if I do move the filter I will fix the holes this summer or fall.

It's a personal preference. A new fuel/water separator bracket and separator looks good and is easy to access there. Mine looked like crap but my brother gave me the extra that he got with his repower and it looks much better. It's easy to access there. It is a personal preference. If you do take it below deck, make sure you have a good functioning anti-siphon valve in your tank.

Yeah i got a new base and filter today. Just re-using the bottom bowl. I do like it where it. Easy access and i can see the bowl. Plus if any leaks i can see it and it will drain out the back. Plus in the bilge if you have a leak you wont know right away and trying to get rid of gas smell in the bilge! I forgot about the anti-syphon valve.. Yeah that would suck and it is not an easy task to access it under the floor!!! Might just leave it where it is. Just think of how i want to run the hoses. As with the new steering the hoses and all motor wires run thru the access hoe and i don't want to rub a hole thru the fuel line. when i turn motor port to starboard or vice versa they go in and out of the hole. Hope that makes sense!

On this area on the bow is my concern. First I washed it up and noticed some spots. I then tried to wet sand it. But the spots aren’t coming off. If you zoom in on the picture you can see what I am talking about.

Looks sharp and I like the new gauges in the console.. My only concern would be where the key / kill switch is located on the console. I've seen too many keys broken off flush and inside the switch when someone looses their balance or a knee hits the key. P.S. : Fuel filters are ugly. They should be hidden from sight.

Yeah i understand that concern. But i will be doing fiberglass work to the console this fall. Once i am done with my work fishing season. The Sea Pro only gets used about 7 times a year. So hopefully nothing will happen to the key. I have ordered some spare keys to be on the safe side. When the wife and i go fishing, once we stop and set the anchor. The key comes out and is put in the storage compartment. And i am the only one that drives. So i will just have to be careful with it.

Mine has the manual switch for the power pole mounted where your key switch is... I was constantly hitting that switch. Had to install a kill switch to that switch.

Yeah i am thinking when i do the fiberglass work this coming fall about how i want to configure it all. I am thinking of just moving the binnacle over towards the steering a bit and putting the key and kill switch next to it. then i will just have to patch up the hole where the radio was it, which is where the key switch is now. I would also patch up the hole where the binnacle is and cut out new holes for the binnacle and key switch. Give it a fresh new look. Also have about 10 screw holes up top where the GPS/Fishfinder has been mounted in the past. So i have a few months to practice on my fiberglassing technique. Glad i have an old console in my garage i can practice on. And i can all the fiberglass and resin from work that i need! I am thinking the hardest part will be to match up the gelcoat.

I have that same usb charger in my boat. It will draw a little power when not in use, so you might want to make sure you have one of those battery selector switches so you can disconnect it when storing the boat

I was wondering how you had your fuel line connected to that fuel line fitting. I might have to do that.
